As the executive producer of the series set to premiere on April 19, Gal highlighted the resilience of women overcoming challenges in various locations such as Puerto Rico, Michigan, California, Brazil, Louisiana, and Tennessee. The 35-year-old actress and mother of two expressed her awe for these women, referring to them as the true heroes of our time. During a virtual winter TCA press tour, Gal emphasized their incredible stories and their inspiring journey.

Debuting on April 19th! The 35-year-old mother of two took on the role of executive producer for Impact, a series highlighting strong women who conquer challenges in various locations such as Puerto Rico, Michigan, California, Brazil, Louisiana, and Tennessee.
“When I go to the set, I put on my costume and grab my sword, and I act out fighting scenes, but it’s all make-believe. These women are out there in the real world, working hard and sweating to make a positive impact,” she expressed.
It was in 2017, following the release of Wonder Woman, that Gadot began to realize the impact she had on young audiences. “I started to think, ‘I have a responsibility to be honest and truthful.’ I realized that I had a significant influence on people and wanted to use it for good,” shared the former Israel Defense Forces member.
During a recent virtual winter TCA press tour, Gal expressed her admiration for the amazing women involved in the project, describing them as the real heroes. She affectionately referred to them as her “women of wonder” due to their exceptional qualities and abilities.
Gadot added that when she goes to work on set, she puts on her costume, grabs her sword, and pretends to fight. However, she admires the real-life heroes who are out there in the trenches, putting in the hard work to truly make the world a better place.
In 2017, after the release of Wonder Woman, an Israeli Defense Forces veteran realized the impact she could have on young people. She wanted to use her platforms to shine a light on the inspiring stories of incredible women. Gal Gadot is set to return as the fierce Diana Prince in Zack Snyder’s Justice League, coming to HBO Max on March 18.
