Gal Gadot gained immense popularity after being cast in the DC Studios’ blockbuster movies, Wonder Woman 2017 and Wonder Woman 1984. Even though plans for a third movie were on the horizon, it was eventually scrapped, but it was not due to Gal being fired from the role, as confirmed by James Gunn, who was recently appointed the new co-head of DC Studios. Gunn clarified this in response to a comment on a recent DC-related Instagram post, saying that he wasn’t sure where fans were getting the idea that they “booted” Gal.
