However, in order to make an “impressive comeback” in the blockbuster Wonder Woman this time, former Miss Israel had to undergo a rigorous training process, constantly pushing herself to lose weight and tighten muscles over a span of 6 months. Every day, she dedicated 2 hours to the gym, 2 hours to learning fight choreography, and 2 hours to horseback riding.

Furthermore, she also places special emphasis on high-intensity sports such as boxing, TRX resistance band training, indoor rock climbing, and cardio workouts to ensure she has the strength to perform powerful actions and stunts. Throughout her training, Gal Gadot has faced numerous injuries, but she asserts that with the audience’s recognition of the film, all the effort she puts in is completely worth it.

According to Theo News.au.com, the beautiful actress from Israel stated: “This is a physically demanding role so every day I have a very intense training schedule and it’s pretty much packed. I usually train for 6-7 hours a day throughout half a year in various disciplines. But my strength still lies in training with weapons.”

Before becoming a professional actress, Gal Gadot was a combat instructor in the Israeli Defense Forces for 2 years. She specialized in instructing gymnastics and weightlifting with different types of bars and weights. This is why the 1985 beauty is considered a real-life superhero due to her action-packed role as Wonder Woman, which requires high physical fitness. However, she also shared: “Despite being familiar with various weapons, when I step onto the set, I still face many challenges because the action scenes are all ‘pretend fighting’ rather than real combat like I practice daily. I know how to use guns and some basic weapons. I was also a dancer for 12 years so when learning how to fight, I often remember dancing,” she expressed.

Gal Gadot not only undergoes rigorous training but also follows a scientific diet regimen:
“I am a food enthusiast and for me, eating is an essential pleasure in life. Since I have to train for 6-7 hours every day, I want to provide enough nutrients to my body and drink plenty of water throughout the day. I don’t follow a strict diet but I also don’t overeat to avoid discomfort for my stomach, especially at dinner. I don’t like to eat processed foods, nor do I like to drink sugary or carbonated drinks. Usually, I focus on providing protein instead of carbohydrates and various vegetables, fruits, and nuts. Occasionally, I will have a smoothie instead of dinner,” said the 2004 Miss Israel.
